The activity began in the early ‘70s with the production of spare parts for a restricted local market. Between 1983 and 1985 the number of employees increased from just a few people to 20 people, reaching in the ‘90s, with the expansion of the international markets, about 40 employees between workshop and management.

In particular, the company manufactures hydraulic breakers, hydraulic plate compactors and a great number of non-original spare parts for the most important brands of hydraulic breakers.
The production is currently divided in the following way: 45% hydraulic breakers, 10% hydraulic plate compactors, 45% spare parts for all brands of hydraulic breakers.

80% of the entire production is exported, meaning the high level trust granted to Idromeccanica’s products in the whole world.
